The purpose of this work is to present different models of educational projects with the STEM/STEAM approach, developed in the Americas, including definitions that allow the reader to classify them is four models, and accordingly, design implementation strategies and expansion of experiences in STEM/STEAM education, following the way these activities are introduced in the educational system: 1) Exploratory, 2) Introductory, 3) Partial Immersion and 4) Total Immersion. This manuscript will present specific cases developed in Argentina and the United States. The goal of this work is to promote the introduction of STEM/STEAM education, show its potential and feasibility, and at the same time, provide tools and concrete examples to professionals in the education area, to facilitate the implementation of educational programs with the STEM/STEAM approach, in their communities.
